About myself

My name is ashly tan from primary 6.10. I have short hair and actually not quite tall!!!I love to play basketball and hang out with my friends. It's a pity that we will be going seperate ways once we reach secondary 1.
I have a family of four. My family consists of my mum, dad and my sec 1 brother. We normally hang out during the weekends. In school, my friends and i play basketball during our recess.We challenge each other by dividing ourselves into two.But before we go and play we either eat noodles or snacks.My favourite food is the curry chicken.
During the school holidays, my friends and I hang out at the mall or at the movies.I , being very enthusiastic, was happy that we get to spent time together.I hope we can keep in touch in secondary school.My friends and i have a strong bond together and hope that it never breaks apart for as long as i live

HOW I SPENT MY HOLIDAYS

I spent my holidays in Japan.It was really fun seeing snow for the first time of my life.I went skiing and was the best among the group.In the beginning i was so frustrated at myself but later i could ski like a "pro". Icould ski down the slope and do the "S" when i am skiing. The food in Japan was also delicious!!! They even have french and italian restaurants. The best food i like is the cold soba.It is a noodle that is cold.You have to dip it in some type of sauce which is a little salty.
I even went to a samurai house which was cool. Inside was like a maze . Every part of the house was slanted and you will find it difficult to walk through.From the outside it will look like a normal house but inside there is some weird things.....
My whole group went shopping and i think it was great. I bought a lot of things especially clothes.My holiday was super as i spent alot of quality time with my parents( even my annoying brother ).I hope to spent more time with them.

How i thought about the first 3 months in P6

I find being in primary 6 tough as we have to study harder.This years work is so much differnt than last year.Altough it it tough, we can still play during the first 3 months.My basket ball team came in first and i am overjoyed!!!After the march holidays, i have to study harder as now the PSLE date is drawing closer.The first 3 months was great as i can play and at the same time study.It is wonderful spending time with my friends as this might be the last year with them.I look forward to play and laugh with them.I hope our friendship last forever!!!

What chinese new year means to me

Chinese new year means about good luck and prosperity.It also means about recieving red packets and new year goodies.Some people believe that a long time ago, there was a monster called ,Nian, who ate people.The lion was suppose to scare it off but one chinese new year he was busy so the peolpe decided to scare it off by making lion costumes and setting off fire crackers while the "fake" lion danced.That is why people believe in celebrating chinese new year.

For me during chinese new year , i visit my friends and relatives.We also have reunion dinners.I have steamboat on the 1st day of chinese new year.I find chinese new year quite enjoyable and fun as i can collect alot of money!!!!!!
